You guys are going to have a hard time in A7 next year.

I can't believe the discrepancy between leagues. take my advice now and start recruiting or thinking about a merger.

In all seriousness, there is a huge discrepancy but I like to think we'll be competitive up there, not for the championship but for a moderate record. Also, you have to figure that several of those teams in A7 will be promoted as well so the overall talent will lower as well.

by the way, I was kidding....about the first part anyway...

It's probably a little easier now with the relegation thing. A lot of team owners (I was one of them once) get discouraged and decide to gut or sell their teams because it was so tough. Use to be it was murder to get out of BBB 13 and then worse to get out of A7. If you can keep players together and wait it out you will get your time in the limelight. You don't have to win your division anymore to advance because of the gutted teams above you.

What fun is there in a merger? Takes all the hard work out of the game. I'd rather lose and struggle to build a team then to just give up by merging with some other team.

Dawgs, if you're going to show up here, at least do some rankings or something

trust me the merger was fun. I felt like I was brokering two major corporations. We probably only improved 2 or so wins from where we were, but we were going to lose a lot of agents, as were the teabaggers.

once we figured out how good this was going to be for the two of us, it was almost stupid NOT to do it.

We don't need no stinking merger. We'll take the same approach we had when I got this broken and gutted team. Try to be above .500 in the first season.

nah, I guess we don't "need" something specifically because most folks seem to just fine at being able to bitch about almost anything or almost nothing at all.
