I saw that...all those western bums moved up into an easier conference and some might actually do something in the playoffs. I look forward to constant competition myself...getting tired of beating up on smallish teams.

Agreed. I hope to move up even if we get smashed next season. It's not much fun playing in a division where the majority of your games are blowouts.

Just give us time guys... We can't just turn things over night.
We're still trying to improve our team and have to prioritize things first like completing the team's stadium.
Which I believe will be complete by end of next season. This off season I could add all the level 300 sections and next season I can add all the remaining seats.

what do you mean casseltomoss?

I know we haven't done anything in the postseason, that's the point.

This league just has too much disparity from year to year. There's between 4-6 teams in each division who are respectable and good matchups, and the rest of the league is CPU teams or teams with low level players that can't currently compete at all.

No disrepect to them (that was us two years ago), but all I was saying was I'd rather have a bunch of games where I lose 34-20 than 10 games where I win 120-0.

To be honest, what you posted is kind of disrespectful.

You're right that you were in the same situation as the lower ranked teams here a couple of years ago but you have to earn the promotion so that you get moved to the next league. And that means you have to beat all the lower leveled and "CPU" teams here before you move on. And for some reason your team don't make cut then you have another season of playing teams who aren't at your team's skill level. But you have to give those lesser skilled teams credit for trying to play tough against your team even though your team's player level out level them/us by a lot.

Whether you win by a lopsided score or lose by a few points the point is that both teams game planned for the match.

If you're here at USA BBB#8 again next season, we promise you that we will give your team a better match than the last time our teams met.

I don't think you have enough perspective to be commenting like that. We got demoted from that division and we struggled to compete year in and year out. It is not fun getting blown out 89-3 95-14 etc etc. When we got demoted there wasn't a single team in that league that was CPU or majority of players were under-levelled (if there's such a word). When i looked at the division last year 6 or 7 of the teams were garbage teams or CPU teams and should not have been in that division. So your theory of blowing out the lower half teams and competing with upper half teams would fall short. No disrespect intended to you or anyone in your position with aspirations of moving up to USA A#4 next year or in near future. We were getting our asses handed to us week in and week out but we wouldn't quit and it was friggin miserable. The upper ecehlon teams there are all level 40+ avg in all positions so I dare say you and our team would get our asses handed to us on a frequent basis but we would derive some small pleasure in beating the crap out of some of the bottom feeder teams strugglin to get by. I think it's more fun competing each week, selling out tickets and developing our stadium so we can compete with teams when we do get promoted. Think about it... you need enough money to supply your level 40 and 48 players with equipment upgrade money ofr you won't compete worth a shit. If you go in there with anything less than level 40-48 players, thinking compete, then your living in a fantasy world.

Also, most of the guys here, with very few exceptions, are really good guys willing to give you pointers on how to improve your team, without malice. I only found a few guys up there that were willing to help in any way. Oh... except of course Coach RW who has Eastern Division syndrom of the brain... lol

Ya have you looked at your roster lately... you have a starting ROLB who's level 33... I mean you guys do really suck look at the standings you're ranked 3rd in the division.... and our team lost to Port Moody 27-24 in a preseason game so they're the shit eh... Okay cut me some slack I may only have a short window of opportunity to bust your balls about divisional rankings thingy LOL

I've tried trading that ROLB for a level 10-20 backup kicker but I've gotten no takers. Shoot. And the thing is, every forum I go to, not just this one, continues to talk about that suck ass CPU team. I'm starting to develop a complex.

Eastern Division syndrom??? I'll eastern Division syndrom you!!!

Seriously though, I didn't think that any of the teams in the east would be able to compete with the west when nic cage handed us our asses...I was glad to see that there was hope... Now, as for an ass whoopin', I say we square-off again next preseason... just so you can say that you lost again cause you had your A/I turned off!!

I didn't mean anything I said as an insult or intend to be disrepectful. Sorry if it came across that way. I know what it's like to be underleveled and get owned day in and day out. We went 0-16 the first year I had the team, with a decimated roster, and were in A#4. So I know the lower leveled teams are trying their best.

I just wish there was somehow a better balancing system for divisions so all our games were like our match with CPU earlier this season, just like I'm sure that the lower level teams enjoy their games against similar opponents.

No one likes losing 150-0, and I at least don't even enjoy winning by that margin, either. When there's no game planning needed or tension in the game, it's just not as fun.

And I know it's pretty much impossible given that teams break up and form randomly from season to season, and there's no logical way Bort could do it other than the way he does.
