We use the "close" and "aggressive" for pass coverage as the last I heard semi-aggressive sucked!

We were facing a 0-9 team so we decided to try the new defense called "DE contain" and the coverage was superb but couldnt stop a damn thing We still won but we need to figure out why we couldnt even so much as deflect a pass???

We are 10-0 and made it to the championship last season so we are a quality team in USA AAA. Take a look at this play and tell me how 4 defenders couldnt even deflect or get the INT on this play:

Before the whole player build crap starts:

FS has 90 speed 70 agility, 70 vision, 9 supervision, 6 first step, and 6 change direction.

Every CB has 80-90 speed, 65-75 agility, 60+ vision, plus 5 or more in shutdown SA's

It has to be player tactics...right?

No, it is the sim.

Is that true? Can anybody vouch for that? I use semi-aggressive for my defense and it has been good, but I think I could do better. Is there a lot of balls that get by a CB who is set on aggressive? I know people will say it depends on the build, but in general, does it happen a lot?

I was looking to see if aggressive is better than semi-aggressive or vice-versa?

could be the Jumping and catching heard they play into the chances of the rolls being succesfull for the Defense as well as the Offense. Also heard that the Offensive players atributes can effect the rolls success as well. ?? just a thought ??

Same receiver every play, and you didn't mention jumping at all for your defenders. You may have up across a very high jumping, high Jump Catch (and possibly Sticky Hands and catching and strength) WR. Just one possibility that it actually is a build "problem" (more like "vulnerability") and not a bug. Although that doesn't mean your defenders' builds stink, it just means that someone found the paper for your rock. And as you note, you still won the game so it wasn't enough to make a difference for the Extreme.
