Lets say right now I have 2 LBs with soft capped speed, agility, and vision.

Now, if I'm going to take them all to the 2nd soft cap, in what order would you do it?

I've heard everything from...

1. Agility
2. Speed
3. Vision

to

1. Vision
2. Agility
3. Speed

I've heard vision is much more important now as a LB than it was in previous seasons.

FYI, on both LBs all my EQ is speed, so lets say speed is in the 75-80 range, and vision/agility are both around 50.

haha, you are asking a dangerous question my friend. nobody agrees on this topic, and most people are very passionate about it. I'll go ahead and give you my opinion in general, but again, lots of people will disagree with me, and also, which LB position you play has a lot to do with.
1. Speed
2. Agility
3. Vision

but i do agree that they should all be taken up to 60 ASAP

I'm thinking my guy will end up Agility Speed Vision, but base vision will be higher than speed.

I'd say get all 3 to 60 natural, at that point its up to you. Like UM said, nobody really agrees.

The natural level gains that LB's get to all three of those attributes are fairly negligible so it would only end up being a point or two difference once all three end up getting 3:1 capped. Since you're going to 3:1 cap all three of them anyways, at that point it's just personal preference.

Only on positions like O and D lineman does the order of capping actually matter, since their natural level gains to their primary attributes are considerably more than LB's.

depends on what you're doing...

pass rushing LBs...speed
tackling machines...agility
coverage LBs...vision

you can't really go wrong

always speed...
Everything else can be in the mid 50s to 60 for a mid 30 LB

MLBS Agility, then speed and vision.... then strength, and tackling

LOLBs Speed/Agility/vision equal at very high for man coverage against all the speed TEs in the pros ... i hate them

ROLBs can range from many things from MLB type builds.... to pass rushing builds that are speed, agility, and strength at high

Early on it's...

1. Speed
2. Agility
3. Vision

As a pass-coverage LB, once you reach a certain point in your career it becomes...

1. Vision
2. Speed
3. Agility

This is because you will reach a point where you'll be fast enough to keep up with everyone and make agile cuts... and at that point, it's all about reacting first, and making plays on things you otherwise would not have seen. That's the point in your career that vision dominates even speed.

imo if you can get agility up at a low level it's better to do first because it's a major. but by level 20 the difference is negligible.
