1. Green Bay Maulers (9-0)
Prev. - same
Last game - Defeated Sin193-0
Just as a point of reference, Maulers have beaten the CPU SIN worse than anyone else. Probably a sign of things to come. The Shockers are up next, and will be looking for a big victory after slipping in their last game.
2. ***O*** (8-1)
Prev. - same
Last game - Defeated Elvis 44-35
O wins the battle of who can score the most long touchdowns. O has a very favorable schedule the rest of the way and will likely finish 14-2.
3. Washington Bullets (7-2)
Prev. - 4 (+1)
Last game - Defeated Continentals 34-13
Bullets threw the ball only three times and held the Continentals to 200 yards of total offense. Winners of three in a row, and a dominant performance like that, warrants a bump up the rankings. Has a bit of a tough stretch vs. Pirates and Kzoo coming up and can really establish themselves as an east power with two wins.
4. Cincinnati Shockers (7-2)
Prev. - 2 (-2)
Last game - Lost to Rage 31-30
Rage controlled this game throughout, but the Shockers defense put plenty of pressure on Gallo. Rage is a fine team, but Cincy might be guilty of looking ahead to the Maulers. They get their chance to blemish the Maulers record up next.
5. Kalamazoo Coyotes (6-3)
Prev. - 7 (+2)
Last game - Defeated RIRW 38-23
Shut down the Wolves offense and dominated the game throughout. Next three games will show just how far this team has come back.
6. Orlando Pirates (6-3)
Prev. - 5 (-1)
Last game - Lost to Gamblers 21-34
Something is amiss in bootyland, perhaps their coach needs to walk the plank into ye shark invested waters thar below. With the Bullets and 0 coming up next, 6-1 is looking like 6-5 more after every game.
7. Las Vegas Flyin' Elvises (6-3)
Prev. - 6 (-1)
Last game - Lost to O 35-44
Let O score 21 in the first and couldn't recover. Two CPU teams are up next and the team will b e8-3 going into what could be a fight for a playoff home game vs. the Shockers.
9. Gridiron Rage (5-4)
Prev. - 9 (+1)
Last game - Defeated Shockers 31-30
No one should be surprised that the Rage knocked off a top east contender. They play strong week to week and are very dangerous on offense. With DDL up next and several lower potential playoff seeds to come, the Rage look to be in the driver's seat for a playoff spot.
10. Detroit Demon Lions (5-4)
Prev. - 9 (-1)
Last game - Defeated Madcats 109-9
The Rage must be given their due for knocking off the Shockers. But DDL can easily reverse that with a win next game.
11t. Rhode Island Red Wolves (4-5)
Prev. - 8 (-3)
Last game - Lost to Kzoo 23-38
Couldn't get the offense working vs. Kzoo and couldn't make enough plays on defense. The MadCats are up and then a tough four game stretch.
11t. Las Vegas Gamblers (4-5)
Prev. - 11 (same)
Last game - Defeated Pirates 34-21
A very solid win vs. a likely playoff team. Proves just how strong the East is 7-12.
13. Philadelphia Continentals (1-8)
Prev. - 12 (-1)
Last game - Lost to Bullets 13-34
Gave substantially on the ground vs. the Bullets. With O up next, things aren't likely to improve next game.
The Rest
13. Kentucky MadCats
14. Philadelphia Pushovers
15. Doomsday Sin
16. Arizona Termites
Prev. - same
