as you all know, this formation utilizes 3 TE's. on my roster though, i only have 2 TEs and 1 FB, so it has been forcing my FB into the 3rd TE slot, which forces one of my HB's into the FB slot.

my question is, does anybody know for sure how the 3rd TE spot is filled if there isn't a 3rd TE on the depth chart?

in other words, is it pulling my FB because he plays FB or because my FB is the "next best player to fill that role"??

if the 3rd TE spot is filled with TEs first and FBs second, then i think i can work around this by adding a backup lineman as a FB on the roster and just use the FB1/FB2 options to specify which one fills the TE3 spot.

Thanks!

Great post...I am going through this same thing myself, unfortunately I am running with only 1 FB & 1 TE on the roster and it pulls my FB to TE along with one of my RB and the other RB goes to FB. Who does this leave to run the ball.....the cornerback. This is his 4th rushing TD this season. I am attempting to address getting another TE & FB (possibly) but I would also like to know how we could dictate who goes where.

I specify TE1 in goalline, but it doesn't work. I've tried putting 3 linemen in at TE1, then when goalline comes, it pulls the normal TE, FB, etc.

This needs to be fixed.

what about using the single back big formation ? there you have 2 TE in that formation.
