Just wondering.

Because when you have a QB who's thrown for 8000 yards in 9 games, a WR with 2500 yards and a HB with 1700 (1st and 2nd in the league), and the 3 recievers who lead the league in passing touchdowns are all your own, you're pretty unstoppable.

Before you go crapping about that we've only played one real team and lost to them, just take a look at the stats. The entire Eastern Conference has been playing cupcake teams, and no one is even close to putting up the stats that SLC has.

As for the loss, it was a OT loss. We missed a field goal we should have made in OT for the win, something that won't happen again. We did not have a true center at the start of the game, instead, we were playing a backup OG there. Thus, we had a sack and some pressures that really were drive killers.

Since then, we've shored up our OL and our passing game is flawless. I don't believe a defense has stopped us from scoring a touchdown in many games.

We have the #1 quarterback, the #1, #2 and #3 recievers in the game.

Our QB, Sirius Black, has yet to the a pick! Only starter in the league not to have thrown a pick this season. He's completing a phenomenal 85%.

We aren't even using our run game, which could be very effective if we tried it. With a 36 HB and an improved OL?

I ask again: Who's going to stop us?

Any takers?

Nice stats ... but can think of atleast 3 teams your passing game would be shutdown ...

Project Mayhem
Fresno
Lynchburg Death Dealers

or better yet

Seattle Thunder since they already beat you ( out total yardage your team )

You can always do challenge with Fresno or hell even my wife's Team the bulldogs ... then see how your passing attack works ... you can pass till your hearts content but if you don't win the game doesn't mean crap

King of the cupcake conference Congrats!

We beat you guys preseason. I'll check with the owner about a friendly so we can help you work on your humility by beating you again.

Stats = Nothing, beat the best in the West and then we'll give you some respect.

Lynchburg is very beatable. You'll see. We're going to play them pretty soon.

Fresno and Project Mayham are definantly the best team in the conference, I admit, but things called upsets happen. I can see it happening.

As for Seattle, did you read what I said? Apparently not. We're much better than we were then.

Just so you know, I did ask who could stop our offense. I never said we couldn't be outscored (although our defense has improved by leaps and bounds).

And Jgifford...preseason? Honestly...you're saying your better because of...preseason? Come on. If your complaining because we've played a ton of cupcakes, you better not be citing preseason as a reason your better.

i try to let the games do the talking but i'll comment on this, i haven't brought up stats because of the games we have had (and our division is very much a cupcake) i am convinced if we played the thunder it would be a much different game, we had NO centers at all againt the thunder when we played the first game this season (which im sure helped the 7 sacks they had against us) i wouldn't mind playing a friendly with you guys just to see how our improvements have changed us and im sure you guys have picked up some people since we played as well, that's why the playoffs are very different. we'll see all you guys there.

i don't expect anyone to give us respect though till we play better teams, that's why i can't wait to play batavia, st paul, and lynchburg, its hard to gauge where your team is at when you play lower level teams.

i had thought of doing some friendlies with the tops of the west, but honestly i dont want to give any of you guys any more scouting material then you will have from our regular season, cause all of us really want that trophy, im sure you understand

anyone from the west though that wants to see how they can shut down our game i'd love to see how we perform against you guys, feel free to send over a request for a friendly, we have one slot open for one right now

Can't argue with upsets ... the football gods do come around ... but was referring to stopping your passing game ( and with the current game sim you should get enough passing yards ) ... you were not asking who's beatable thou .... you were asking who could stop your passing game ... gave you list

Let me Breakdown your list of "Opponents" ... by looking at their matchup Pass Defense ( sad thing some of these could have been worse )

27 Pass Defense - Slaycity Slayers
9 Pass Defense - Greenville Gladiators
27 Pass Defense - KAFL Wolfpack
27 Pass Defense - Floripa Istepos
30 Pass Defense - Jacksonville Teal Cats
21 Pass Defense - San Vascarba J-Hawks
36 Pass Defense - Rhode Island Wolves
18 Pass Defense - Pittsburgh Soldiers

Everyone of these teams is what I would Call stat padding games ... also up'ing the long passes on the easy game doesn't impress me either ( didn't check everyone of the above games but after 2 and reviewing plays should be the same on the others )

Here is example of even game the bulldogs played ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=312594 ) ... we did 58% pass and 42% run for that game .... the next game was our own stat padding game in our conference only thing I changed on gameplan was 55 run and 45 pass ( player tactics stayed the same ) http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=312577 ..... that team we played was better then half the stat padding teams listed above .... stat padding teams are very bad to make a statement you said and boasted about ... I believe your team looks good ( good QB and 2 nice receivers ) but your team has some holes

Also your Center excuse was unreasonable to blame for your loss ... I read what you typed and found it lame ... yes you missed OT Field goal at 50 some yards ... but you made 55 yarder to put it in OT ... but hell how many 50 yarders do you expect to make ( seriously expect to make ... with the changes ) ... should have moved the ball better on that last series of plays

1) Your 1 sack against your QB went through the Left Guard
2) Only 2 Hurries ... is pressure then your team does have a problem
3) drive killers ... you got sacked on first play of drive and got choked on the next 2 plays

Think I have rambled enough ....

real question is what is a team with the lvl of players that are on some of these rosters doing in a BBB league at this point anyway? If you have all 30's and 40's on your team, how do you manage to utter even one bit of boasting about it when you are in a beginners league with the players that belong in a league a couple 2 or 3 steps up?

I just dont get it, rather be a big fish in a little pond I suppose.

no offense but just because you come to the forum shouting your greatness doesn't make you a challenge, frankly I don't see it. If you manage to make it to the championship game, I'm confident that whoever makes it that far from the west will be glad to show you what football is about. In the mean time, by all means, continue telling us about that juggernaut of yours..
