Hey guys, how do you suggest stopping a simple running play up the middle to the right? We're getting murdered by these plays:

Play with short coverage distance, so that your SS is in the box.

Also, more strength on your line to help force double teams.

Example #1:
4-3 - Cover 0 - Man-to-man - Short coverage - Run focus - No shift - Blitz SS 100% and MLB 100%. You need the MLB in their to take up blockers and not let the O-line get up field. SS is optional if you are worried about the TE run a route.

Example #2: Using a 3-4. I have seen some plays lately that a 3-4 confuses the O-line and they will start out by double teaming the center or tackle leaving a blitz opening for either your RILB or LILB. Cover 0 or 1 with run focus will move your LB's tight to the D line while bringing up the SS and or FS.

Like Deathblade mentioned will help but so will player tactics. Setting your tackles to a run focus will also help.

Wow. The TE on that play does an amazing job of blocking. i wish i could get mine to do that.
