So a couple of pretty good matchups went down this past eveining and neither were close. Rest of the games went about as expected.

1. Port Moody - Dropped the hammer on a pretty good Emmaus team and loook every bit the number 1. Good game coming up against the Teabaggers and they have to be confident after the egg Victoria just laid.

2. Teikoku - Beast. Beast. Beast.

3. Atlanta - Put the sword to a disorientated Victoria team and rebounded nicely from their late loss to Port Moody. Look to be a team finding its place amonst the elite.

4. Bronx - Still in the voter's humble opinion the most talented squad in the league. Still has plenty of opportunites to prove this.

5. Victoria - Looked pathetic against Atlanta and the recent additions of good players was paid by the cost of a terrible chemistry and cursed by a bad gameplan. The Teabaggers have a chance to redeem themselves coming up against the Pain but the voter thinks the Teabaggers might have to wait til the last 2 games of the season to see if these moves were the right ones. Voter thinks they were

6. Emmaus - With the tie breaker against Thundertown it seems that this is where they will finish. Too good to move down. Not good enough to move up.

7. Thundertown - With the recent exodus of their palyers Thundertown has taken a hit, and yet still managed to beat Niagra, showing again the disparity in talent between top, mid and lw level teams is equally expansive. Will finish in this spot and will make the palyoffs.

8. Who Knows - Everytime I want to give it to Niagra they lose, everytime I want to give it Yancy they lose. One of those teams will finish in this spot just not sure who.

Game of the Week:
6-2-0 Victoria Teabaggers vs. 8-0-0 Port Moody PAIN

Victoria is realling from the loss to Atlanta last week, and will be looking to really utilise the new talent brought in from Thudnertown. The play was uninspired against Atlanta...but the Teabaggers will have the home crowd of Anfield to be the 12th man. Their HB, Fetialis Smith, looks to rebound from his worst performance of the season so far, but has to earn it against arguablely the toughest D-line in the conference.. The PAIN roll into town with murder on their minds and look to show the Teabaggers that bringing in mid-season aquisitions can be a bitch!!

Prediction: Teabaggers are trying to be like Man U too much...
Score: Victoria 24 Port Moody 35

Wrong...again Niagara finishes in the #7 spot. It is certainly possible we finish as the #8 seed, but even despite the recent 1-point loss, I'm just not seeing it. And this is expecting us to lose to the Black Flag, which may or may not happen.

At the beginning of the season I predicted that we'd finish 9-7 and that appears that's exactly how we'll finish. These games are the easiest things in the world to predict, though we'd have won the last one had I set my tactics.

We're pretty ready for the Black Flag however.

You cant stop a team like the Black Flag, you can only hope to contain them!

GG Bronx. We gameplanned pretty hard and figured we had exposed some weaknesses in your team. The only one that really worked was the pass over the top to the HB and that only worked once.

Other than that, looks like we'll have to get our chemistry up.

The real difference in the game was depth. Your lower level subs left you open for big plays. Stick with these guys though, yea they will miss some big plays but soon they will be at high levels and taking names. I love the build of your team, it reminds me of where we were a season ago, you are heading in the right direction

Yeah but I'm in big time trouble financially. I went and acquired way too many players and now we're completely default on a loan. We'll see what happens in a day or two. I can't afford to give up now...not when we've got the playoffs to fight for!
