Is it practical to make a Zone only Corner. Max speed and agility out around 80 and put VA into Zone Specialist and Long Reach? Do enough teams run zone?

I don't know if I've seen a quality team run a lot of zone this season. It's been pretty broken for a while. Bort makes changes and improves it, but most people realize it's still not as good as man coverage yet.

Your going to need A LOT of vision and agility for a zone only CB. like jdupuy3 said, zones been pretty broken.

Zone coverage = Man coverage reaction time, with terrible cover priorities.

But if you dumped veteran points into Zone Specialist, wouldn't the sheer increase in raw stats be enough to make up for poorer cover priorities?

Probably not, tbh. Even if it would, what about the other CBs that are now playing zone? It would have to be a team decision, and I'm not sure that any team is going to flat out commit to zone defense that strongly.
