Little help stopping this play...

Thanks for your help last time on shutting down the Single Back WR Screen.

4-3/Cover 1, Run Stack. You can then choose to blitz and number of players. I prefer a Strong Shift [to prevent a bounce outside] and blitzing the MLB and SS.

Just SS:

SS and MLB, no Stacking:

What are you setting the underneath coverage?

MAN.

Always MAN.

Strong I doesn't like ROLB blitz out of strong shift, he'll shoot unblocked into the backfield and if he's fast enough catch the RB before he can get going. You can use a lower cover (0 or 1) to bring the SS up, too, just in case the RB gets a good jump.

This isn't as consistent as the MLB/SS blitz, at least in my experience. Against good O-Lines, he will get picked up more often than not.

Depends on if the RG can handle the NT solo, because the C usually picks up the blitzing ROLB.

I prefer the 4-3, Cover 0, Man to Man, Short coverage, run focus, Strong side shift w/MLB & ROLB 100% blitz. This clogs the hole at the line, brings the SS up encase they run the TE on a route or he helps with the run. WR's are alo covered with the FS staying deep to help with the pass. Leaves the weak side a tad bit vulnerable though.

Can be run with a 3-4 also you just blitz the LILB and LOLB.

Do you mean cover 1? The FS won't be deep to help with the pass in Cover 0; I believe he'll double one of the WR.

Yes you are right. Cover 0 the FS will come up to help and Cover 1 the FS stays deep. Good catch davearchie. I could have worded my last sentence better.

I like a 3-4 Cover 0 zone, run stack, blitz ROLB and FS on medium play distance.

I wouldn't recommend it if you think they might pass out of it though.

Sending the LOLB out in a zone is good if they do a lot of pitches/screens

how do you send one LB into zone?

I like Engage 8 for STrong run stop. It sends both the SS and LOLB blitzing and has CBs and FS dropping back into zone coverage in case they do throw it.
I don't think you can send only one LB into zone right now.
