This is a level 15 LB, I am slow building for the remainder of this season.

Here are my attributes without equip.

Strength - 20.63
Speed - 61.5
Agility - 55.63
Jumping - 13.5
Stamina - 15.63
Vision - 22.63
Confidence - 18.63
Tackling - 16.63
Catching - 13.5

He is a LOLB. I was planning on capping vision next. Is tackling something I should cap soon? Was just going to train my other attributes, and put points into only agility, speed, tackling, and vision.

Your on the right track. I'd get vision to the soft cap and get agility to the second cap while training tackling and strength. Once vision is capped you can go in a few directions. Being a LOLB your gonna play coverage to the TEs as well as looking for the HB so Speed in the 70s w/eq should hold you for a while along with having agility at the second cap. You can get vision to the second cap (boards are split on high vision being beneficial. I am one who believes it is with my lvl 40 LOLB) or you can concentrate getting tackling/ strength to the soft cap. Doing the latter, make sure you train jumping and catching. They will help with PDs and possibly INTs. Jumping will also help make dive tackles. Stay away from the SA's until near lvl 30.

Thanks. This is quite helpful.

You bring up a good question though. At level 40 have you noticed your SA's help at all? It is pretty widely believed that they are useless for a LB. I was going to avoid them altogether.

shed blocks is good for pass rushing only...so not really for a LOLB...diving tackle and swat ball are meh...

personally...i think that glare and trash talk are better than people think but not worht more than 4 to 5 in either without real proof

I think the thing with glare and trash talk is that they are good when combined with the rest of the DLine/LBs on the team using them. However, just a long LB with lots of points in them isn't worth a whole lot.

Personlly, I don't think any SA's that affect a QB's morale is worth it. Outside of K/P, QB is the only position where confidence is a primary attribute to 3:1 or 4:1 cap early in their career. On top of that insane confidence, they have Pocket Presence, Turn Shoulder, Field General and Stiff Arm; these are all very viable morale-protecting SA's for QB's (well, not so much Stiff Arm). I've been a part of too many games where the opposing QB gets hammered for 8+ sacks but goes on to complete 67+% of his passes with zero picks.
