When setting up the LB shift for an output, the options are:
Use Basic Settings
Center (No Shift)
Strong Side
Weak Side

However, I can't find an option to set the 'Basic settings' for this anywhere. Am I missing something here or is it just not possible? If it isn't, will it just run Centre the whole time?

Interesting????? I'm only guessing that on your settings for Run Inside/Outside and Pass vs. Run would make the change, but you're right there is no basic setting.

I was hoping to be able to use this as a quick way to adapt my defense to teams that only run to one side of the field (e.g. always use a strong side shift against teams that only run to the right) but if there is no basic setting I would have to change it for each individual output...

It's the Run Inside Defense Pc and Run Outside Defense Pct that'll determine the linebacker shifts

the lb shifts are left, center, right. how does that translate to inside/outside?

It will shift them left/right according to the outside run % and the centre (no shift) is the inside run %.

so if i do 100% outside run, does it shift them left or right?
