Assuming this season would be like last season is a fundamental flaw in thinking.

I'm pretty new to EE Pro, but it seems like this is the most competitive it has ever been. That means there are more serious teams here than ever before. Sure there may be one or two that gut, but EE Pro isn't 100% competitive yet.

eh, i disagree. seems that the bad teams were replaced, not gutted. the new teams didnt have a choice about being here. bort/randy moved them up.
eventually people will leave, a large part of it is that guys have owned teams since season 1 and are just quitting. cycle of glb life brah. the longer they play, the more likely they will quit.
i imagine after season 10 a TON of people will stop playing as their original guys will need to retire.

I don't know if they will quit, chances are they will start over - if you have players that have custom gear, that you have been boosting every season since S1, then you will get a heck of a lot of FP back when you start retiring them

I'm debating my future with GLB. The Season 7 sim changes need correction. Bort completely obviated 'balanced' backs and thats a crock of shit IMO. Terrell Davis wasn't a 'power back' and he wasn't an 'Elusive back' he was a back with good vision and an ability to accelerate and hit a hole fast.
Backs now can;t hit holes unless you build power backs and thats just BS. Especially after seasons and seasons of Bort telling us to build balanced builds. We've got a team of 'sea monkeys' I started last season so its fun to build up players, especially since you get to spend SP's more often so it feels like you are doing something instead of sitting helpless and watching your player suck for 7 games before you can even begin to attempt to spend some points to fix them and those few SP's you get aren't going to really matter much anyway being 2-3 points in an attribute.

Due to genetic issues/physical ailments. If he hadn't had those issues its likely he would have played more, and also had at least one more 2000 yard seasons.
The point was just using a player who was not a 250# 100 strength power back. Its pretty easy to see the builds(Physical stats) and know the relative 'strength' rating of NFL halfbacks and your average 'Balanced' back comes a lot closer o that. And for 6 seasons they worked fin until Season 7 Bort ball came along.
I wouldn;t even complain if he had a public testing server and put changes in essentially one season before they wen't live. So live players had a cance to see what changes were coming and adapt but at our level of play (pro-leagues) SP's are too far and few between to catch up a build. So its either get rid of your friends and recruit the next retarded build for a single season or suffer a long ime as you attempt o recover your builds only to have them screwed up again in a season or two.
Just a litle frustrating is all. Price vs Enjoyment took a nosedive for me. Part of that could just be I've been very busy trying to gameplan etc.

drink more game plan less. Or come back down to the minor leagues. Its pretty easy to win in AAA. Then again we have always carried a power back and a elusive back just so we can switch depending on which one was nerfed this season.

teams not knowing they were moving up is false, same rules apply for teams replacing CPU teams as always.
