If NT is a such a non-glorious, but vital position, does he still gain fame just as fast as other positions? Can a NT ever hope to get fame benefits like endorsements?

Ernie Stautner - only player in Steelers history to have his number "unofficially" retired.

was Mean Joe and Ernie Stautner not DT´s?

Albert Haynesworth is not in the HOF! and I think not a NT. or?

maybee the only true NT/NG/MG in the HOF is Bill Willis.

Bronco Nagurski. He was also a fullback (back when fullbacks were the main ball carrier).

Every position in the league is eligible for the endorsement. The NT on one of my teams has the most fame on the team.

The NT in GLB is lame as hell IMO. Every down he automatically gets double-teamed by the RG and Center. Doesnt matter if he has 110 strength, he still gets pushed back. Not fun and poor game design.

Reggie White occasionally lined up as NT for Buddy Ryan's Eagles defense. Used to own O-line from there.

Sure thing. My DT has a fame of 926 and he's been built to be a run stopper. No big sacks or hurries numbers. Fame is also boosted when the team you are on wins a title.

My NT has more fame than other players of mine at equal level in other positions. And, he's on a team with a losing record.

I can't explain how or why, but he does.
