My level 24 Kicker is currently using an AE Visor with +4 Kicking, +3 Big Boot on it. He can't upgrade that piece anymore so he is going to start working on a Big Boot shirt he bought. He also has a Big Boot cleats in the store that he can buy. He has a natural 2 in Big Boot so right now Big Boot is at 6 (1 from custom + 3 from advanced). At some point, granted a bit down the road, he's going to max out Big Boot (isn't it like 15 or something). I'm trying to figure out what other kinds of advanced equipment would be good for him since Automatic seems to pop up fairly rarely and Calm Nerves doesn't seem to pop up at all. My Punter is in a very similar position. Would a Kicker or Punter benefit from a Superior Vision piece? It doesn't seem to have any benefit to a Punter or Kicker from reading the description but I figured I'd ask anyway.

Would only help with making tackles / avoiding fakes.

and i wouldnt bother going to 15 on BB ... after 10/11 there is a fall off in effectiveness in SAs ... must be better way to spend those SP !

I wouldn't be putting SP into it. I have BB on 2 pieces of equipment and I right now I can purchase a third with it. Eventually, through upgrading that equipment (although a long while away), BB will hit 15 without me putting another point into it.

Uh, ok... at level lets say you have a level 40 punter/kicker with 3 AE which each now needs upgraded every piece 6 times, that's 48 tokens each x 3 pieces = 144 tokens, tokens take 2.5 days of training so in order to upgrade all those your going to have to train for at least 360 days plus however long it takes to get the shopping tokens needed. Oh, and since I haven't seen anyone say that they found a piece that starts out higher then level 1 BB, that will only give you BB level 12 (13 if you have a custom piece).

So, it will only take something like 7+ seasons of intense training to gather the tokens!

I think pumping it up to 5 or 6 including custom equipment then using AE to do the rest would be more realistic.
