wow thats funny you post this cuz im going through the same thing. i have a lvl 43 in SA Pro and the first 2 games i got torched and i watched PBP and i was on my guys like glue. my stats are pretty much identical to you but i have more tackling and less sp in SV. i put my guy on semi-aggressive instead of aggressive and we played the benitos (best team in our league) and i had 4 tackles and 2 pd's. that's a lot better than my previous 2 games.


im upset over this though because in past seasons my guy tore it up. maybe bort changed something? But i've been waiting for someone to make a post about this. Anyone else having problems with their CB's this season?

what settings do you play on maz?

close aggressive but sometimes it seems like im on medium fan in the stands

In what way is he sucking? Burned deep, out-juked, not getting picks, passes going over you? Everything looks ideal, so either a)we need to dig through replays and not be lazy, or b)you need to give more details.

my jumping is 50 and my vision is 61 and i have 6 in SV.

1 WR made an extremely sharp cut, he probably has high agility, Quick Cut and Route Run SA. Not much you can do beyond more agility and change direction.
2 You overran the route, logical answer is more agility and CD. And, of course, then missed the tackle
3 Not much you could have done there. He got inside on the slant, no idea how to stop that in this game, though again his cut was better than yours.
4 Too much speed, it seems. You overran the pick, more catching/jumping to increase your radius could help, though.
5 Again, nothing you could do. You had the down field coverage
6 Another bad cut
7 No idea, but my CB's been doing it all season, too.
8 Same
9 He tried to go for the pick, couldn't.

Semi-aggressive could help you out, especially on 4 and 9.

Coverage has been a bit funky at times this season (plays7,8),as I have had that happen a few times to me also. The problem with semi-aggressive is that it isnt good against deeper routes,as the CB will tend to back off of the receiver as the ball is thrown.

Buildwise I would recommend a heavy investment into Shutdown Coverage and more Change Direction.

you had very good coverage on those plays. no matter how good your build is receivers generally have an advantage over CBs. the better WRs in this game can be very difficult to stop.

If I were you I would continue making investments into SV as that will help you out quite a bit and if you havent already,pump up Shutdown Coverage.

IMO, your problem is that you have 20 more speed than agility. Agility manages your speed, thus creating "mobility". +20 speed like that is a lot for your agility to manage.
