I actually like this play because of the fact it is run from the STR I and the WR#2 route looks really good if they have the SS in to cover the TE or blitz to stop the STR I OT run.
Those plays are all Pro Set plays called for the WR and TE, he asked about the FB Flare from the Strong I (p.s. your FB is hesitating b/c he has 15 catching).
I saw the Strong I FB Flare play run in our games a few times last season, but the FB never got that open. It did get completed to other receivers I believe. The problem is most Strong I defenses assign a LB to cover the FB; you basically have to catch them in an all-out blitz. The other problem is most FBs are too slow to get out into the pattern, so even if they catch it, pursuit limits it to a minimal gain.
