After this past weeks game, a big move was made in the top four. Also, a lot of moves throughout the rest of the conference too. Check out the new power rankings and lets talk it up here!
EASTERN CONFERENCE WEEK 3 POWER RANKINGS
1. New Jersey Revolution (3-0; Same)
In the biggest game of the season so far, the Revolution put a hurting on the Bootleggers, winning 62-38. In this very high-scoring game, the stars of the show were not on the Revolution. But with a great team effort and big games by QB RJ Stew and RB Bo Suletki, the Revolution could not be stopped. They put up 637 yards of total offense and averaged 8.4 yards per rush. RB Bo Suletki had 246 yards on the ground on only 21 carries, scoring three TD's. QB RJ Stew had 334 yards passing with 5 touchdown passes. On the defensive side of the ball, New Jersey's leading tackler was SS Logan Kelly. Great game New Jersey. HUGE game next week against the Express. I hope we can beat you guys but it is going to be tough, for both the Revolution and the Express. Good luck.
2. Windy City Express (3-0; Up 1)
Another easy game for the Express this week. The Express took down the Sugar Land Silver Scorpions 255-0. The clear player of the game was CB/PR Eric PatrickJohnson. He had a RIDICULOUS game with 29 punt returns for 840 yards and 10 return touchdowns. He ALSO had 8 pass deflections on defense and 2 INT's, one returned for a TD. Just incredible. Also, big games once again for our duo backfield RB Ronnie Brown and RB Lytning Bolt who combined for 641 rushing yards and 13 TD's. I'd say these two are in the Top 5 running backs in the league. Another big game for QB Dandy Marino. He had 420 yards passing with 8 TD's passing. Not as many as his past game (30 TD passes) but it will do.
3. Kentucky Bootleggers (2-1; Down 1)
A tough game this week for the Bootleggers. They fell to the mighty NJ Revolution 62-38. The two stars of the game though were from Kentucky, WR Jason Gram and QB Eddie Tucan. Gram had 15 receptions for 281.5 yards and 4 TD's. Tucan went 33/41 with 427.5 yards passing and five passing TD's. The reason why they lost this game was because the Revolution offense torched them. New Jersey put up 62 points on Kentucky and they had over 600+ yards of total offense against them. But except for Kentucky to finish the season pretty strong. They played one of the toughest teams in the conference and only have a couple teams that have a shot of beating them still to play.
4. Sin City Saints (3-0; Same)
Another EASY game for the Saints this season. They beat the Greenheads 122-0. Once again, RB Earl Campbell had a huge game for the Saints. He carried the ball 18 for 236 yards and 3 TD's. But he was not the leading rusher on the team. Yes I know, surprising. RB Major Gnutts was the player of the game! He rushed for 350.5 yards on only 20 carries. He also managed to put the ball in the end zone seven times! Great game. Another solid game by the Saints front four. They managed 15 tackles and 3 sacks. But the linebacking core out-shined them. The linebackers had 15 tackles, 5 hurries, and 6 sacks. Just a great game overall from the Saints.
5. St. Louis Assassins (3-0; Same)
6. Chesapeake Sea Serpents (3-0; Same)
7. Dirty South Brew Crew (2-1; Same)
8. Alex's Ball Minions whoop whoop (0-3; Up 2)
9. Detroit Kiss-My-Anthians (1-2; Down 1)
10. Brigantine Greenheads (0-3; Down 1)
11. The Kansas City Fockers (1-2; Up 3)
12. Viridian Vanguards (1-2; Up 3)
13. Georgia Storm (0-3; Down 2)
14. Sugar Land Silver Scorpions (0-3; Down 2)
15. Syracuse Hitmen (0-3; Down 2)
16. The Winners (0-3; Same)
