Game of the week:

8-mile assault vs Louisiana Black Bears. This game will be a statement game for 8-mile assault as one of the best teams in the league. The Black bears beat NORTHWOOD, what was thought as a #2 team heading into the season in a convincing fashion.
final score 33-20 8-mile assault.

Honorable mention:

Canton Bulldogs Vs California Kings. I want to be completely biased here, but if the Bulldogs win it would rattle the rankings. possible putting the Bulldogs second behind 8-mile, when/if 8-mile wins.

Pointless observations:
San Diego Hit men play a team they should beat.

The nightmare syndicate was completely torn apart last year. They went on to recruit what looks like a pretty competitive team now. #8 on the power rankings doesn't seem correct anymore.

As owner of the Blackbears, I have to admit. 8-mile is probably one of the more intimidating teams in the league. They've really improved from last year. Here's to a great game... I don't think anyone is running away with this one.

Here's my prediction: Who ever wins the turn over battle, wins the game.

There's no doubt we're the Monday Night game! I think I just saw the Madden Cruiser pull up outside!

My secondary is all wearing "Jax Who" T-shirts under their jerseys as a sign of solidarity. :o)

This has been a rough couple of days- trying real hard not to overthink and screw up my GMs gameplans. Luckily, they're both military and could kill me if I tried.

haha! As an owner I can relate man, you want to do right and get involved. But thinking too much is bad. I've finally totally removed myself from game planning and though I look at it I'm trusting it to the GMs 100%! So hard to sit back though!

These 2 games tonight could easily be previews of the semi-finals. Now all I have to do is get the wife to take the kids out to dinner without me tonight and I can enjoy it the right way! **Note- hitting refresh on your Blackberry every 30 seconds during dinner leads to sleepless nights on the couch, for those that haven't experienced it yet.

Yeah, and whenever I make my wife sleep on the couch, she's always grouchy the next day...

I can promise you I am not getting shutout this game, against 8 Mile! I'm not saying a TD...but a TD would be nice! hah. It will be a close match up for sure, at least it should be.
