Not many changes this week in the power rankings. The teams who were suppose to win, won. A little more of a summary on the top four teams. Hope to hear from you guys soon.
EASTERN CONFERENCE WEEK 2 POWER RANKINGS
1. New Jersey Revolution (2-0)
The Revolution had a very easy game this week against the Silver Scorpions, overpowering them 238-0. No contest here. New Jersey spread the ball out to everyone. QB RJ Stew had 382.5 yards passing with 5 TD's while running backs D.A. Nos and Bo Suletki had six touchdowns a piece. Also, RB Bo Suletki had 12 punt returns for a touchdown. Just ridiculous! One thing the Revolution may need to worry about. They did not record a sack vs. the Silver Scorpions, who are much lower leveled than they are. In the 1st game of the season, they only had four sacks. Pressure on the QB may be a problem for the Revolution in the future.
2. Kentucky Bootleggers (2-0)
Another very good game for the Bootleggers. They won their Week 2 game 159-7 against the Georgia Storm. Another big week for the Bootleggers' WR Jason Gram. He had 6 receptions for 187 yards and 3 TD's. QB Eddie Tucan had a perfect passer rating this game, going 23/25 with 520 yards and 7 TD's. The Bootleggers did not have to worry about the run this game, with the Storm throwing it 105 times and not running the ball even once! Even with 105 drop backs, Kentucky did not record a sack. This may also be a problem for the Bootleggers in the future.
3. Windy City Express (2-0)
We had a huge game this week. The Hitmen had no chance to stop the Express in a 255-0 blowout. Only one completion from QB Dandy Marino did not go for a TD pass. QB Dandy Marino went 31/44 with 1,524.5 yards passing and 30 TD's. Yes, I said 30 touchdowns. Count 'em up! That is certainly the most touchdowns I have ever seen thrown by one guy. He is our Player of the Week. Also, strong game by all of our receivers obviously. Once again, CB Eric PatrickJohnson had another big day in the punt return game. He returned 4 punts for touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, 8 sacks by the defense, 24 hurries, and 7 INT's. FS Jack Conness and CB Dontchu Throwit both had 3 INT's, two of them returned for a TD. Also, CB Eric PatrickJohnson returned a INT for a TD. Domination by the Express.
4. Sin City Saints (2-0)
Another solid game by the Saints in a 125-0 win over the Viridian Vanguards, a CPU team. RB Earl Campbell had another huge game with 26 rushes for 449 yards and 11 total TD's. The Saints backup RB Major Gnutts had a big game with 97 rushing yards and two TD's on only nine carries. Big game for DE Odie Longer who had 11 tackles, 8 sacks, and 4 hurries. He was the Saints leading tackler and one of their team's top players. Their front four put a lot of pressure on the QB, with 13 sacks coming from the front four. Good game Sin City.
5. St. Louis Assassins (2-0)
6. Chesapeake Sea Serpents (2-0)
7. Dirty South Brew Crew (1-1)
8. Detroit Kiss-My-Anthians (1-1)
9. Brigantine Greenheads (0-2)
10. Alex's Ball Minions whoop whoop (0-2)
11. Georgia Storm (0-2)
12. Sugar Land Silver Scorpions (0-2)
13. Syracuse Hitmen (0-2)
14. The Kansas City Fockers (0-2)
15. Viridian Vanguards (0-2)
16. The Winners (0-2)
