This will sound like a strange question, but what's his confidence, if you don't mind my asking?

Pathing issue. Don't mind at all.

A new one, or an old one? My FS took a similar route on a run earlier in the season, with the same result. I'd never seen it happen like that before with him. I'm still upset about it, even though we won the game.

i actually noticed a couple plays where my safety took some horrible angles as well with 64 in agility and 3 in change of direction and 62 in vision...i haven't noticed that before, in fact, i was impressed on quite a few plays where my safety took great routes and cut off a WR from going all the way....this is the first season ive noticed the bad route taking...

I've given up to see my guy approach at the right angle. The FS will almost all the time start out heading straight for the ball carrier and then slowly adjusting at full speed to catch him from behind.

Mid 70s agility and vision, bit over 100 speed, 3 CD and 3 CS here...

One of those pathing issues. The defenders should recognize they cannot reach the ball carrier in time and then make an adjustment to meet them at a point on the field.

Mine did the exact same thing. I guess there's no known cure?

You guys mention agility but you don't mention speed. 60 agility and 90 speed is not good.

But yes, pathing is just terrible most of the time anyway. They don't calculate the best intercept point, it's like it's impossible to tackle head on.

I'm always amazed how guys come up with such conclusions out of the blue.

Maybe dominating an single-A-league does make you wiser? Maybe he's never seen anything other than his own guy? Who knows...

I really don't see how speed/agility plays into the FS taking a poor path. Vision/Conf yes, but speed/agi should only hurt him trying to make adjustments, not judgement mistakes. Unless you want to say that the FS simply is not aware of his own abilities.
