I suppose you might get more broken tackles if you were even slower

I think I have kind of wondered on this too

different item was looking at HB on lead block.
the pancake afterward the defender gets back into play too soon
also block not held long enough would be the item looking for

I think he is trying to say that a fast FB can get way ahead of the HB. In fact he can get so far out ahead, that the FB pancakes the defender only to have the defender get up and make the tackle while the FB goes looking for another person to block.

This is a good thing. FBs don't gain any natural fractions from level up. This means that speed is essentially the very last attribute you should be pumping once you have your mains covered.

I'm aware. His 14 speed comes with 71.51 strength, 54.51 blocking, 68.51 agility, and soon to be 48.something vision. Then speed. At level 35, he's going to tear things up.
