OK, last season I tried the program that is passed around on this site for a ranking system and more than a few of you were unsatisfied with the results. I was not happy with it either since undefeated teams were being ranked lower than teams they beat as we neared the end of the season.
This season I will produce a ranking system based completely on my own opinion. I know everyone will not agree every week. I know there will be complaints but I think it will give us something to talk about. So, I want to stress that this will be my own personal opinion on the strength of teams. I don't mean to offend anyone, I'm just going to tell it how it is. I will update in this thread after each game. Oh, and since my team is in the West and I don't really care about the East, I'm doing the West teams only.

Preseason Ranking:

1. Louisiana Blackbears: best team in the league, will not go undefeated
2. NORTHWOOD TROJANS: solid team, weapons across the board
3. Orange Maners: what happened? these guys were a powerhouse, they've lost a step
4. 8 Mile Assault: someone's been busy in the offseason! will be a force this season
5. California Kings: have improved every season, will the streak continue?
6. San Diego Hitmen: overachiever, sleeper, whatever you want to call them, be careful or they will beat you
7. Canton Bulldogs: just missed on a playoff spot last season, they're looking for revenge
8. Nightmare Syndicate: some good players on this team, lacking depth to back them up
9. Steel Bay Raiderhawks: deep team, just not enough experience amongst the players
10. SEBRING GECKO S: better than the teams below but nowhere near the top echelon
11. Ensted Enhjørnings: lots of CPU players, will post a few wins
12. Nashville Golden Eagles: CPU team, will win some games courtesy of the slow build teams
13. Spaghetti Hill Spazs: almost a CPU team, will also win a couple courtesy of the slow builders
14. Springfield Isotopes: still pitching it to Buzz every play? will get a couple wins this season, that's a couple better than last season
15. Morris County Millionaires: slow build team
16. College Station Troopers: really slow build team with really big stadium

My prediction: 8MILE versus Louisiana in the West Final.

8mile brought a bunch of players over from Oklahoma in BBB16 it looks, and their fielding a bunch of level 40+ playes who should chew the league apart.

Their roster is good enough to be in A or AA, but we'll see how they gameplan soon enough.

Either way I see a couple more teams moving up and joining Oakland/Seattle/The Warriors next year.

Let the rivalry then be set! The Blackbears went and signed away our (previous)top receiving threat this offseason so it's ON! :o)

Haha, I was wondering how that would go over.

He's just lucky it's not a home game for us. The rabid fans at The Bigger House
might be road tripping to that one to get a piece of him!

Seriously, though, jax is cool. Just gotta creat a rivalry around here somehow. Being a doormat team for a couple of seasons didn't help us build any bad blood with anyone!

The boys in the locker room have already decided to quadruple team Jax- we're putting a tonn of faith on the coverage skills of our Nose tackle...

HAH. I have nothing against 8 Mile either..just when they play the Blackbears. I like the prediction: 8 Mile vs. Louisiana in the West Final! Just some advice though..quadruple team Jax and our TE and RB's will dominate...they are looking better than I am!

Heck, you've been the closest thing to a rivalry we've had! We've played tight games all along. Looking forward to many more!

No changes after game 1. I'd say it's a safe bet that the league champ is coming from the West again this season.

Just curious where you are getting your rankings. The bulldogs beat California and 8 mile assault last season we are ranked below them? We also beat the black bears every time we play them By 1 point lol.
