when recruiting was easy, fewer teams, fewer dickheads, less complicated AI's, more fun for everyone, LOL

Everything was better back then, I remember boosting early and thinking it was a good thing, putting SP's into stamina because tpaterni's thread said stamina was the most important attribute. Playoff threads from back in AA where people talked trash but it was ALWAYS fun and games and people we're respectful about it. The game was fun to log on and click check score. And there we're actually friendly rivalries instead of just "competitive teams".

I wasn't around for season 1, but I do remember season 2 when the dots in the Pro leagues were like lvl 15-16. Compared to my guys in the D-leagues they looked damn fast. Now go look at a game with lvl 15s and it's boring as hell.

yup and there was still jsut as much bickering going on in the forum, so this whole thing going on lately is nothing new IMO

I remember that too, seeing a guy with 70 speed was insane to find. Those were the better days though, when you would level up every other game... good times.

I may have been lucky but I remember being part of a more fun atmosphere season one, ask anyone on the Cheetas, Couch Potatoes, Krakow, USAORG... wait all those teams are gone.. At least SGA and LRC were around back then, I wonder if they remember.

I mostly enjoyed the fact that the AI was less work. I understand how the game has to progress, but I certainly liked changing percentages around compared to this mess. I could scout on my own back then.

Now I need a whole crew to get it done lol.

Ya gameplans.. They run a lot, up the blitzing %. We have a level 6 WR? Oh hell ya we're passing 70%. Got us a conference championship season 1 with that simple thinking.
