I have a level 39 WR that is currently listed as the #3 WR on his team. The #1 WR is level 33 and the #2 WR is also level 33. Does this make sense? I inquired last season about it and was told that it was the most dangerous receiver position on the field.... I don't think that my stats are that great and expected them to be better....

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

I was never in favor of this but a lot of teams will put 1 or their top 2 WRs in the slot position because you should be matched up against a crappy corner. However, if the QB has his primary targets set to the #1 and #2 WR's names then it kinda defeats the purpose.

Dude, you should be getting the most plays of your WR corp and it currently looks like you will be, it doesn't matter which WR slot you get them in. They have you set to be the starter at the #3 slot which is only going to benefit you going up against weaker defenders and you are the backup to the #1 slot. If the energy settings are set correctly you will be splitting time at the #1 spot and will be put at the 3 spot every time you run 3 or more WR sets.

My player- http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=273841

He's led the team in receiving the last 3 seasons and has never been higher than #3 on the depth chart (our other WRs are about the same level, too). Seems the more I bury him, the more incentive he feels to prove how good he really is!

This is correct. Another thing to consider when looking at teams as a FA is the Qb. I moved my Wr to Monterey Magic and his productivity went way UP because the QB, Lay Zer, is one of the best QBs in the league. Don't over look the QB when looking for teams to sign with if you want to do well as a WR--it is just as important as depth chart and offensive style.
