For a level 1 speed wide receiver do you guys prefer intense training for speed and agility, or normal training on just speed?

intense speed/agility, you'll want those bonus tokens saved up by the time you're high enough to have good stuff start showing up in the advanced equip store.

Train intense until you run out of good combos, that will take you quite a while.

Basically what he said. As you can see, I have 1 piece with +2 route running, 1 piece with one handed catch, 1 piece with juke at level 14

That is a waste as you will never be able to get them fully upgraded. 2 pieces of AE is the most you should carry.

Yes...at level 14 I would rather have +2 speed than any of the above.

Now when one of the AE pieces is fully upgraded I would prefer it over a normal piece.

Personally, I'll be training intense even after I run out of combos.

I'd do normal training on speed until I have enough SP to cap it, but that's just me, you'll gain a point or two doing it this way, but if you 5 or six cap speed, those points will be worth 5 or 6 SP.

As for the AEQ question, CTRS is correct that SA equipment won't help you as much as +attribute EQ at the early levels because the SAs rely on the attributes to trigger, if they are low they won't give you a noticeable bonus.

I would however hold onto those AEQ pieces, all 3 of them. It is cheaper to upgrade individual pieces each time to store bonus tokens than to save them all one one piece.

At level 14 does it really matter? I am looking more longterm...

And I would still probably take +2 speed even at level 14 because a 1 in juke or one handed catch will likely never even fire...at least with +2 speed your player will always use those points.

I guess we are just going to have to disagree at this point because if you looked at my build, you would have seen, even at level 14 I have plenty of agility to fire off a juke.

Feel free to come back and let us know what you went with when you figure out it doesn't work.
