I am considering acquiring a center of pretty high level and his build is very interesting to me. I won't share it totally, but the speed is less than 20 while the agility and vision are both more than 60. Strength and blocking are both in the low 80's.

Is having that low a number on speed going to be effective? Also, does high vision in a center help the rest of the line better recognize blitzes or something? I don't get why a center would need vision past the second soft cap.

Blocking and strength are rather low, but then again the NTs shift towards agility builds. Speed can be trained up (such as intense speed+stamina). Make sure, he got a lot in Line General.

In my experience, a center can get away with putting speed off for a while, but eventually I would want to see it at least in the 30s. Second capped agility is good. I would have probably softcapped speed before second capping vision, but they may know something I don't.

Yeah, Cs never have to move very far, so i'd reckon 30 something will be fine unless they block on ST.

Centers can get away with neglecting Speed for a while, unless they play special teams a lot. Getting Agility and Vision to the first soft cap > Speed, as a general rule.
