Does closing speed SA work if a CB is on special teams? Anyone know?

Generally on special teams the corner is not "the last line of defense." Most special teams coverage players will be running directly at the returner, rather than trying to "close" on him from behind. So no, it really wouldn't help.

Well, the definition doesn't say anything about "from behind" thats why I was asking.

Here is what it says:

Closing Speed gives this player an adrenaline boost when he needs it most - to catch the ball carrier. The player will gain a speed and acceleration boost when the ball carrier is far away and he needs to close the gap quickly. This skill is very important for players who will be playing a lot of zone coverage, and for the last man on defense. Additional Levels: Increases the speed and acceleration boost received.

Honestly i dont think it matters i think its a good SA for any defensive player, but not sure i would invest too much into it because you would be better suited to put points in the shutdown tree.

I've used closing speed on my LB and both my CB when they play special teams from CE. There is a Big difference on special teams. In fact, I do not think that there is an SA that effects special team gunners more than closing speed.
