I've been contemplating adding catching to my SS, as my speed/agi/vision are up to soft cap, and my tackling/jumping are close enough. Is it worth it to start adding to that, or should I focus on raising my speed/agi to second soft cap?

Personally I would only train it, its low enough where you would see significant returns and save your SP for raising skills that are already capped or SAs.

Once you get it to like 35 plus maybe you could consider dumping SP into it

absolutely not necessary. unless of course you want to intercept the ball. but i'd put it pretty far down the line. you gotta have a lot of other stats high in order to get into position to make the INT pretty regularly. i'd bump speed/agi/vis to the 2nd cap

sure train it when you have

speed 3rd capped
agility 2nd capped
Vision 3rd capped

Tackling, and Strength 1st capped

jumping in the 30s
stamina in the 30s
Confidence in the 20 (maybe 30s now with all these new vet skills are showing )

then start worrying about your safties ability to catch the ball .... but only train it.... ever
