Warrior General Games

I read the thread about OPL > USA and it got me thinking. I'm sure we could come up with 7-8 teams from this league to play against the best from South America, Oceania, SE Asia, etc. We did this in AAA2 in S5 and it worked out really well. 7-8 teams from each conference, teams get matched up based on strength. We all pretty much know the powerhouse teams from each conference, so we won't have a Monmouth or Santiago playing an 8-8 squad. Winning league takes bragging rights and quiets all this "*insert random league here* > USA Pro jibba jabber.

The biggest knock on USA Pro has always been that this league was scared to play against SA Pro, OPL, CPL, etc. With some of the new teams that came up in Season 6 (MEM, Cincy, SF Fire, etc) and the S7 promotions (Parma, Lincoln, Vegas Gamblers, OFG, etc), you can't tell me we couldn't scrape together enough teams to go beat the shit out of these other leagues. Hell, maybe the Wangs would even come out and play for one game.

So, anyone interested in this or am I just wasting my time?

MEM is always interesting in owning bitches.

I hope some teams do come out to represent US Pro, Evil Monkeys are in for sure. This could possibly be one of US Pros strongest seasons and its time to show GLB that

Don't know. Figured I'd float the idea out there though. I find it hard to belive we can't find 7 teams out of 32 that would schedule a scrimmage against a South America or Oceania team though. O_o

We haven't even played a Pro game yet but I think Lincoln would be more than willing to represent our new league.

Just need a few more and we can start representing

Once the Pirates are done with Free agency, then we would consider it.

Pirates are always up for a challenge. Not sure if we're the best representative, but the only way to get better is to learn from your mistakes.
