I want to start building a CB. should I just wait until season 7 or should I start now and boost 3x? I want to get his levels up quick but I won't use any of the SPs I guess that would be slow building him?

Create him now, but don't boost. You should be like a level 9 at the end of next season, then boost him and join a 13 cap league. Creating and boosting right away seems like a waste to me. It takes you no time at all to go from level 1 to level 4, save your flex for something else.

There is no reason to make him now and not boost. I'd say wait until day -1, then make him, just in case the season gap can somehow affect your aging (and, to not have a season 6 bar when he doesn't get any stats or EXP in season 6). And typically, a season in the Ds will leave you at level 11.

Agreed. However, I would create now as Bort said he is leaving the training points running through the offseason, so waiting to create is only going to cause you to lose out on training time.
Your lifespan is based off of actual specific creation date, not simply the season you were created in.

I pretty much did what you have done. Seeing that training points accumulate over the course of the offseason (an extended one at that), one would be able to get a little jump on those that create their player a little later.
Also, with the creation of level 1 capped leagues soon, it would be a great opportunity for your newly created player to be in the same team with other level 1 players instead of a CPU-controlled D-League team.
