OK fellow Saskatonians I have done a bit of research on our lovely football town of Saskatoon and have come up with the 1st Annual Annual Bridge City Tournamant which will reward the best team in the province with the coveted "Bridge Trophy".

Each year it will be up for grabs just like the Little Brown Jug or Paul Bunyan's Axe.

This tournament is open to any team that plays in the lovely town of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Regina or Moose Jaw - there are 3 of us in Candian AA#2 so looking to see if we can get an 8-10 teams (or more ) to participate on a yearly basis. If you are interested and play in one of these towns or province please post your team link in this thread and once we get enough teams I will set the seeds up and we can battle for the Bridge Trophy!

A little background on Saskatoon and why call it the Bridge City trophy:

Saskatoon is known as "Bridge City" for its seven river crossings. The name comes from the Cree inanimate noun "misâskwatômina," which refers to the sweet, violet-coloured berry that grows in the area.
