It's down to two. The Chicago Commandos from the East will take on the Memphis Blues of the West. Should be a good battle till the end. Both battled tough teams to get here and it will be interesting to see how they handle themselves up to the game. I'm sure there will be plenty of trash talking in the next couple of days. Boths sides want this one bad but only one can take home the trophy!

Congrats to both the Blues and the Commandos. As Titan said, both had a tough road to get to this point and are well deserving. Best of luck!

So does Commando mean you guys don't wear underwear because your boy friends think it's sexy or what?

Although I am not a GM on the Commandos, I have GM'd two teams that took home silver trophies. I'M SICK OF THE SILVER TROPHY! I think this is our year and we'll grab the gold. Then again, I don't have to do any of the game-planning for your clearly excellent squad, so that's easy for me to say
[Sorry, I don't really trash-talk. I'm not sure we have many who do on our squad, so you might be disappointed.]

Looks like two teams with strength vs strenth matching up. This should be a great contest. Congrats to the Blues for making it this far. May the best team win.

I like our chances because we've beat both Norfolk and the Cajuns. Both are better teams than Chicago in my opinion. Not to take anything away from Chicago as they beat Nevada who I also thought was a better team than Chicago. Also throw in the fact we beat Nevada pretty good in the pre-season and we've made some additions and gotten better since that game.
not that ANY of this really matters at this point, but with all that being said I just like our chances.
My prediction
Memphis - 34
Chicago - 28

Maybe Clay will chime in with something, or maybe he's still drowning his sorrows in the drink!

In reference to an earlier post, I believe Clay solicited the business of one of those aforementioned North Memphis lot lizards and came down with a case of a little something we like to call the "Beale St. Blisters." Heard it was a case so bad St. Jude wouldn't even have mercy on him. I think he'll rebound though.

The MED would've been better since St. Jude is a children's hospital. I mean I'm just sayin..

I know but it was the only Memphis Hospital I could come up with. You local boys need to step it up with the smack!

We actually didn't beat Nevada, for whatever that is worth. We did however beat the team that knocked out Nevada pretty handily. Having lost to Nevada as our one loss in the regular season, it just goes to show you can't compare what you do against common opponents, it all about how two particular teams match up. I find it to be an intriguing matchup, and eagerly await the results. Either way, two deserving teams are moving up this season.

We beat the Cajuns in the pre-season. And we've always speculated that Nevada did a significant amount of temp boosting during our one loss this season, but haven't been able to confirm that.

The preseason game with Memphis and Nevada was won by Nevada 44-24, just pointing out. The fact that we've managed to face off with both of these Championship teams here, I must make my prediction.
Chicago Commandos-30
Memphis Blues-24
