I tried running a 4-2-5 Cover 0 with the LBs shifted to the strong side but still got reamed. Part of that may have been because I blitzed the weak side corner to try to jump the route of the WR screen that goes to the other side---apparently it made the Sim put my LB downfield as if he were a safety.

Also tried the DE Contain from the preset defenses with only slightly better results.

Any suggestions???

This was one of the few teams that slowed down our HB screen.
Looks like they ran a 4-2-5 Cover 2 with Zone under neath coverage?

Yeah, a few ideas.

Stay away from the DE contain, you'll get better results with the normal AI.

Going with a man under, strong shift, cover 2 with short distance on zone works pretty well. Usually a couple LBs will follow the HB to the flat and the SS, if well built, will come off the short zone drop and rush to the sideline getting outside contain.

If you have a good blitzing LB, try going with a weak side shift and blitz the weak LB. The QB drifts towards left tackle, so a strong rushing RDE or blitzing WLB can often sack/hurry on a screen. Be in a cover 1 with a run focus, man under and the SLB and SS should both be in decent position to get to the HB if the pass is caught.

A third tactic against a 2 RB screen is a simple cover 0, man under. The FS will double WR2, so you'll have 2 DBs at the point of attack as well as the SLB and SS coming over as the play develops.
