Good game SF we just got the benefit of the turnovers and just seemed to hit our stride at the right time! I dont know about gulf state but we will try to represent the west with pride

Don't worry Sioux Falls; I'm sure at least 4 teams will be moving up from The 15. Not that anyone wants to really leave a league without winning it, but I'm sure at least 4 teams if not more will be coming up here to A8.

Thats what i figured as well, but looks like a few of you will be moving up as well. Looks like 15 rocked in A8 this year. Either way a 15 team from last year will win A8. LOL

You got that right!

I'm guessing 5 teams move up, because USMC is number 6 in the promotion order.

If they go with more than 2 teams from each conference, #s 5 and 6 would probably come out of the East. That was, by far, the stronger overall conference this season, as the West lost 4 last offseason.

We're over Houghton and the Makos according to Bort's promotion order.

1) 4 teams in the conference finals
2) Death Valley has more regular season wins
3) USMC has more regular season points than Houghton or the Makos

I don't think it uses all the criteria and gives you a score. I think it works like a tie breaker.

Wow. So it's almost a trickle down effect of last season. They weakened the West to the point that the top teams would have better records. I have no problem saying the top 8 in the East would obliterate the top 8 in the West. Hell ... look at the week 1 results.
