Honolulu Hurricane Warriors V Minnesota Marauders. Honolulu comes in off a tougher than expected game with OCT. The Wang twins at HB got back on track after a tough one against South Bay in the last game of the regular season. In a great one Galk's Marauders held on to beat SBS.

The first time these two met the played a thriller that the Cannes pulled out in OT on, if you can believe it, a touchdown pass. The Marauders D "held" the HHW rushing attack to 299 in that one. Minnesotta countered the Warriors ball control offense with one of their own and it was effective.
2 Keys to this one, can Minnesota's army of GM's figure out a way to stop the HHW ground attack. It has been slowed down at times, if you force Honolulu to throw bad things usually happen to them.

The other question is what does Minnesota do on O. Will they slug it out on the ground again or try to open up the O through the air.

It should be a very good game. I have a feeling that Minnesota has a few tricks up their sleeve and no disrespect to the Cannes but......Minnesota 35-Honolulu 31

Monmouth Evil Monkeys V San Francisco Fire. The Fire won their opener in a game that was much closer than the final score. Up by only 7 with 3:09 togo SF put up 21 points to close out the Freebirds season. Monmouth had a similar situaion in their game. All three of BSB's touchdowns were off of fumble returns.

Their first meeting, when Monmouth broke the fires 29? game winning streak, was one of Monmouths toughest of the season. While Monmouth Outgained them substantially, the Fire where able to keep the game close.

The biggest keys to this game will be SF's ability to contain the Monmouth Pass rush, 9 sacks and 18 hurries for the EVIL MONKEYS in the first game played a huge part in the outcome.
SF is going to have to make sure that they balance their D to control both parts of Monmouths Offense. Too many teams have paid for trying to take Drago and the recievers out of the game and have been burned on the ground. In addition to the #1 passing offense in USA PRO, Monmouth also had the #5 Ground attack.

I'm looking for a 42-31 EVIL MONKEY win

As always, a great write up CV and thanks for doing it.

Quick questions, can you do one for the Eastern Conference? That would so rock!!!

Great write up, definitely what we are thinking, except for the outcome...hopefully we can pull it off again in the end. This one could be decided by the sim gods. Should be fun to watch.

Good luck to everybody that is still left in the playoffs. definitely an accomplishment to be one of the last 8 teams standing in a very tough league.

Good game Minnesota, that was a nail biter. Fortunately for us our defense made enough plays in the 2nd half and our offense converted some key 3rd and 4th down plays. You guys have hell of a team and will be one of the contenders next season.

And, hellooooo Monkeys, again.....

GG Minnesota, tough game that wasn't determined until the final minutes.

Man, here we go again. Wangs vs. the Monkeys IV. GL Monkeys, should be a good one.

At least this time the winner of the West is not guaranteed the league championship. GG Minn, definitely could of gone either way.
