As the title says, what does confidence do for an LB? I know that higher confidence lessens the amount of morale lost after a bad play such as a missed tackle, but what other benefits are there from it?

When I was recently creating 2 LBs, I noticed that they occasionally had some rolls with high confidence, like 17+. So I'm guessing it must be somewhat useful for an LB.

Bort's never specifically stated where it's involved, but he is on record as stating Confidence is the most underrated attribute. It's probably handled similar to "Luck" in a lot of RPG's where it has a hand in everything, but isn't the main factor in anything.

confidence gives ur LB confidnce when going up agianst higher lvls which makes him play better or it makes him think he ownes the under lvled and will help to manhandle them.

Vision doesn't do anything. It actually having an effect on anything is a myth.

I'm beginning to lean this way too. I havent noticed big differences in play between low vision and high vision guys. The sim is coded for the same pathing pretty much no matter level you are.

My 24 LB has 80 vision and 60 agility, and reacts just as quick to plays, if not slower than my SS with 12 vision.

The only thing vision MAY help with is getting faked.

Perhaps this could be where confidence comes in?

Also, vision helps with pre-snap reads; if your vision is high enough your player can predict what type of play it is and will react accordingly.

An LB without vision capped is going to be highly ineffective in my opinion.
