Can anyone tell me why my DE sometimes breaks into pass coverage instead of rushing the QB?

I'm sure there are others, but this WR was already double-teamed before my guy got there.
He's the RE.

It's because your coach left that play in the playbook. If the play has you covering, you'll be covering.
