Who is going to win? Some good teams. If you are going to talk about the East and how great it is in this thread then you are a loser. We all know the East has better teams but could care less b/c this thread is about the West.

I think a better question would be: Is there a suprise team, outside the obvious three (TJ, Chan, Gosh), that could make a run?

The Nighthawks are the only team that kept it reasonably close against all of us.

I am openly rooting for the Nighthawks.

I just bought a sweet new Samuel Zachary FatHead. He's so dreamy.

They did beat down Thompson in the regular season. 2nd round could be really interesting.

Thompson and New Jersey are the only ones with a prayer. New Jersey could beat any of us on any given day, but if I had to lay odds, it'd be something like 200-1 that one of the "big three" will be in the finals.

I'd say Goshen is 2 to 1, Tijuana 3 to 1 and Chan 7 to 1.

Wow I feel bad for Goshen. What happened to their defense in the playoffs? They blowout Bakersfield in the reg. season then struggle to win.. and then New Jersey goes for 70?

There's just some weird shit going down in the playoffs every year. Teams seem to play remarkably different than they have all year in some circumstances. I don't know if NJ boosted or what, but they weren't nearly that good all year.

As for our game.. What can I say.. We had a three score lead late, and the GLB Gods decided Tijuana wasn't going to lose. They go 24-0 on us in the 4th to pull out a 5 point win.

I have to blame myself.. I put too much faith in hb passing, screens, that sucked.. and a certain 5th CB that is inactive, has a terrible build, was matched up against Mac Sweetness because I randomize CB positioning based on energy, and they made us pay with long TDs.

Really disappointing.. If I had the run heavy mechanism in there, I'm sure it could have been a very different story, so I'm kicking myself.. but it's not like we handed it to Tijuana.. They went out and exploited our weaknesses and took it.. and Grats to both NJ/Tijuana. Yet another "Next Season" rallying cry for MN football.

Great game, Chan. Although I gotta say I'm a fan of the HB screen this morning!

yup, just look at the musketeer game. sure we play a 16-0 team but 400 yards rushing against a team with the front 7 and tactics set to look for the run? the missed tackles alone show something is fucked up

Yeah, that's a weird one. We basically blitzed the housem but still how Crash decided to try to tackle the TE instead of cut off the HB.. is way beyond me.

We basically lost on that play and the Mac TD.

And the sweet angle where the CB is going to get the guy, but then goes horizontal to get directly behind him? Great coding. It's been like that forever, but never fails to amaze me.

hb screen is something else that was screwed up. check out the misctanbul playoff game in EE pro league and you'll see why it's screwed up

a better one is the hb screen where our CB was directly in front of the hb and could slow him down at least to allow other players over. didn't happen that way, the cb ran directly off the sideline and the hb had free open space in front of him
