how would you build them differently? What would be the main distinction?

L.O.L.B. is built like a corner.
R.O.L.B. is built like a defensive end.

I do not think you need to build them any different. My LB has played all 3 LB positions and has played well at all 3. Speed, agility, vision is what you need more than anything at either position. with decent strength and tackling you can be successful at either 3.

LOLBs probably needs better vision, they're in coverage more while ROLBs blitz more and need speed/agility more (shed block too). All depends on what your team does on defense though, I suppose.

So basically the exact same.

LOLB's should be able to cover WR & TE's. SPEED, agility vision

ROLB Vision, agility speed

IMHO

The player build recommends he fastest to be an ROLB - I disagree~

They need vision to see what the play is doing - then agility to get in position to tackle or move around the mass of WR & CB's, etc. in their path.

LOLB - know a play is coming their way but, have to be able to run to the HB or TE breaking off.

my 2 cents~

interesting. i get your point but i actually think speed is the most important attribute for ROLB's. since the play is usually going away from them they need to have all that speed to get to the play. of course vision is important to see where to go, but i'd rather get there.

My ROLB blitzes about 75% of the time, maybe more. It's all about your team.

But then ROLB has a great blitz position and IMO should be used as such

Speed, agility and vision helps ROLB make these types of plays. No different from whats required of a LOLB. If you want to, I would suggest having 2 sets of Basic Equipment to focus on speed or agility for whichever side you think needs the most of.

The only real difference in build comes with OLB and ILB were I think strength has more of an effect.

No expert just MPO.

This, and ROLB do not need a ton of vision. I've seen my LB make plays all the way across the field like the play above but he only has vision at 30. It's about speed, speed, speed mixed in with some agility.
