It's really late after a long day, pardon me for any goofs.

Western Conference

1 Fresno Fire
Nobody could knock them off the top spot and they'll have home field advantage throughout, but to get to the championship, they have one blessing in round 1, San Jose and Fort Wayne face off, which will force one out of the playoffs. Jacktown and Reno wouldn't meet them until the Conference Championship round - San Jose and Reno won't go quietly. Want a championship in the West? You have no choice but to go through Fresno.

2 Jacktown Smackdown
Jacktown faught hard in the stretch and closed the book on thier validation by winning a tight game in the season's last game and took over the second seed to pick up San Francisco. Jacktown should do well and move up if they want to take advantage of this.

3 Reno Marauders
They slipped in the stretch, not by much though, only 1 point from OT and 2 for the win against Jacktown and I think we'll all see a re-match in round two. A nice start to a good rivalry.

4 San Jose Chupacabra 13-3-0 W9
They closed out the season like freight train and picked up the 4th seed to get that lucrative home game, but it's against Fort Wayne, which won't be easy. This is the game to watch in the West for the first round folks, lots of implications here.

5 Fort Wayne Talons
Fort Wayne closed out the season with a statement sealing the deal on the last 4 decisively, but they didn't get the help they needed to crack the top 4, so they missed out on the lucrative money train and what's worse, is that if they win round 1, they'll have to travel to Fresno next, not an enviable position to be in.

6 Kansas City Royal Chiefs 11-5-0 W1
Kansas City really stumbled down the stretch, finally recovering against a weak Arkansas team. They need to figure out what's wrong and figure it out in hurry if they have any chance of upsetting Reno.

7 San Francisco Stonecutters
You can say that San Fran backed into the playoffs based soley on surviving thier late season downward spiral and it would be true. They need to deperately find a rabbit to pulll out of thier hat and it better be the Killer Rabbit from the Holy Grail.

8 Miramar Leathernecks
Miramar did what they had to do to avoid a disaster and won the season closer and the late season slide put them in the worst position, a first round game with Fresno.

9 Colorado Springs Flyers 7-9-0 W5
Despite the late sesaon charge, they didn't get the help they needed. Next year Colorado, be ready, because you'll be a force to be reconed with.

10 Los Angeles Arsenal CPU
Meh, whatever.

Eastern Conference

1 American Freedom
Alright, what's going on here? They're undefeated, yet lead the league in virtually no offensive scoring and production categories? Registering in middle of the pack in the majory of them. Could a muzzle be on the offense? Or is the defense just that good? The defense are near tops in most team categories. Regardless, they've got home field advantage throughout since nobody could dislodge thier hold on the #1 seed. BC is round 1 and the previous match up wasn't pretty.

2 Syracuse Souls 15-1-0 W8
Oof, they close the season out in style with convincing wins and their only loss was to the Freedom, which won't be seen unless they meet for the Eastern Conference Championship. Bortsville has the best chance to upset them, but will it be enough? Unlikely. Expect to see a Freedom Syracuse rematch for the conference title.

3 Bortsville Mystery Nerf
Bortsville was caught off gaurd by Richmond and the game was closer than they might want to admit. They won't have to worry about a rematch unless Syrcuse falls flat and Freedom vanishes. They'll defeat Colonial in round 1 no doubt, but to have any playoff validation, they'll need to upset Syracuse in round 2.

4 Richmond Retros
They lost thier grip on the #3 seed and put themselves in a tight spot, forcing a rematch with Tri-Cities right off the bat. Richmond barely squeeked by and Tri-cities has thier number dialed in. This is the game if the East in round 1 folks.

5 Tri-Cities Fever
Losing the game really stung and it likely cost them a lucrative home playoff game, but, if there's an upset in the making for round 1, this is it. Tri-cities has Richmond dialed in, they just need to fix the wrinkles.

6 Colonial Zoners
The yo-yo finsih to the season clearly cost them home playoff game. To survive, they need to figure out how to stay competative against teams they are evenly matched up against. If not, Bortsville is going to make it ugly.

7 Baltimore Blood Ravens
Another team that backed into the playoffs with a season ending loss. First up, Syracuse and Baltimore will need more than a fancy magic trick to pull off an upset.

8 B.C. Assassins
They closed the deal when they had to, winning the last three to barely make into the playoffs... only to be met by Freedom.

9 Chicago LMG Accountabillibuddies 7-9-0 W1
The last 5 games of the season were just too much to overcome. Better luck next year folks.

10 Cleveland Firebirds 7-9-0 L2
Despite the losses, they did score in games they were heavily outmatched in.

No muzzle on the Freedom's offense, just a blue-collar group of guys working for a stingy white collar defense.

Best of luck to the Triple B 1's elite eight.

Glad to see you're already admitting defeat to the Fever.

I should have been more specific - I eliminated Bortsville from that thread meaning that you will not get your revenge on them because they won't be there
