I've noticed a lot of higher level corners have strength almost soft-capped. What is the advantage to this? Why strength over any other seemingly more important attribute?

I'm at the point with my level 19 corner that training the important attributes (speed, vision) only brings a 10% return, and the secondary attributes bring a 30% return (catching, jumping). Should I train on the forced fumble drill which will up strength and tackling, as I will earn 45%+ per training session? Or should I stick with the seemingly more imporant attributes that bring a lower return?

And even if the answer is to ignore strength for now - should I ever focus on this attribute in the future?

the only real benefits i have heard of are better quality tackles and shedding blocks from WRs for screen plays or outside runs.

Train what you are planning to cap next. If you plan to cap jumping and/or catching, then train that combination.

There are different ways to build a CB. If you want a hard-hitting player that may hurt the player and cause an extra fumble or two after they catch the ball, and also be able to make more tackles then work on strength and tackling. If you want to work on deflecting and intercepting more passes then work on jumping and catching.

You don't need to train the lowest of your skills, but it sounds like you will get a lot more out of not training speed and vision because you have already built them up. I hope you have also built up agility if you aren't working on it soon.

Train it some. I used to get blocked by the WR a lot and was unable to get the RB on outside runs. It helps with the running game. It helps with tackling. It helps with turnovers. It is worth it to train. Just make sure your speed, agility, vision, and jumping are at a decent level before.
