I know speed, agility, and vision...

but what else should i focus on? I would assume tackling and jumping would be important as well as some strength for tackling..

Should i just soft cap speed, then agility, then vision in that order?

actually strength is a tad more important than jumping on SS's because on different defensive schemes, you will be getting blocked by the TE or the FB coming around the corner. In my opinion, get strength up before you start training jumping.

Obviously you are correct on getting spd, agl and vis to softcap first.

Yeah more or less you got the right idea. I've seen people do the softcapping in different order but most everyone does it speed agility and then vision..

I don't think it really matters what order you get your speed, agility, and vision built up. Just remember that ideally you will be playing for 10 seasons. If you concentrate on building your player to be good in the first and second seasons, you are probably not going to be as good as possible in your later seasons. If you are building to be better in in your fifth season and beyond, you are better off spending points only on speed, agility, vision, and a bit on stamina for your first three seasons. Of course, you can train other skills, but you need to concentrate on speed, agility, vision, and stamina. Don't try to round out your player too much early on.

You really should more than softcap speed, imo. Second cap at the minimum.
