Is there anywhere that says which attributes move the bars for DTs? I don't ask because I want super l33t scouting bars, I'm asking based on seeing the scouting bars of certain excellent pass-rushing DTs and I'd like to get a better idea of what makes them so good. Thanks.

I haven't paid great attention, but strength is definitely #1

Agility adds a bit, as does tackling and vision in smaller amounts, speed a very small amount seemingly.

I just have noticed that all the best pass-rushing DTs seem to have high tackling scouting bars, which struck me as odd.

Here are RUN HARD's three DTs:

and maz's DT:

I'm just curious what it is that's making their tackling bar so high.

str is what makes it that high

I would have to assume that means you have a lot more than 70 str, because my DT has 70 str and a tackling bar much lower than my pass rush bar.

Oh I know, I have 70 base str, only 32 tackling though. I'm starting to think it might just be vision which I was going to get up next season anyway.

Agility and vision both add to tackling bar, as does confidence and jumping to a small degree. STR is again the biggest contributor (along with tackling, of course).

Confidence is fourth behind strength, tackling and agility.

Strength is the biggest effect on Pass Rush bar
Agility has a smaller effect on PR and Tackling
Speed has an effect on Overall and Tackling
Tackling is the biggest effect on the Tackling bar
Stamina and Confidence both effect the Overall bar

I'm not really concerned about who has the highest bars, results on the field are what is important. I was just trying to see if I could extrapolate something from the better pass rushers out there, but I feel like my DT's on a pretty good path.

My dt was slow built and has faced competition that outlevels him by 5-10 levels frequently. I could of made him to dominate the d leagues but I wanted someone that would be a freak when his build matures around the 4th season.

Also, I have never once put a point into tackle. All that bar is from str and agl.

That's fine, but I wasn't even really asking about the pass rushing bar.

I think mine was green at 29 as well, possibly 28. Builds are probably similar.
