Has anyone had success playing a DE in a 3-4? My team next year is going to have 3 or 4 great DE's and I'm not sure if I can incorporate them all on the field at the same time in a 3-4. I didn't know if the out of position penalty would kill their production or not. Has anyone tried this?

Yes. the penalty isn't that bad, but it is somewhat noticeable.

He's played ROLB until the past two games. Fast OLBs usually get a great angle on the QB when you blitz them from a 3-4.

Yeah, the only thing I worry about, besides the out of position penalty, with DE's playing OLB in a 3-4 is the lack of tackling the DE's have compared to LB's. My D-ends have about 85 speed 70 agility, but only 30 tackling.
