I've been reading some views of people saying that a high first step is the equivelant of a soft capped vision?

Has anyone directly experienced this, or experimented with it?

Any significant increases with Soft capped vision AND 5+ points in First Step?

With the Dline, vision impacts reaction time once the ball is snapped more than anything else. If your player is very slow off the snap or seems delayed its because he has low vision. I dont know if first step makes up for that or if people are only assuming that.

question? would vision be less important for a NT who lines up directly over the ball vs. a DE a few yards away?

If anyone tells you high first step is equivalent to soft cap vision, call them retarded and move on.
