My level 20 kicker currently has 91 in Kicking (will be 92 once I get some cash to upgrade a piece of equipment) and has 74 without equipment. If I'm reading the XP chart correctly and don't put any more points into Kicking, I figure he'll hit 100 around level 25. Should I use my skill points for the next 4 levels to get kicking to the next cap to maximize the auto-points from leveling and get there sooner or should I concentrate on other attributes?

IMO you should stop when you hit the 4 SP soft cap (68). You will hit 100 kicking easily with the equipment after that.

I was planning to take my new K up to the 5 SP cap (73), but i'm not sure if it's worth it.

I was planning to stop at the +6 SP cap (78). Different strokes for different folks.

I took Puchtit Wright up to the 78ish cap for both kicking and confidence, but now I think he might have been better stopping at 73ish. That would have allowed another cap each for strength and vision, and equipment gets kicking and confidence each up to 100 territory anyway.

But I'm not sure 78ish was a particularly bad idea... he still does alright.
