Recently the team I'm the OC for has been having issues with hyper-agile and fast DEs pounding our QBs into the dirt. Is there anything I can do about it? I can only whine at our offensive line so much to improve their builds, they mean well, but they're badly outleveled.
I've tried keeping HBs and FBs back to help out with the blocking but they don't seem to help at all, mostly they stand around, point and laugh as the pass-rusher blazes by and messes up the quarterback again and again. Occasionally the HB will run into the DT, leaving a nice route for the DE on the outside.
What can I actually do to prevent this, gameplan-wise?
