In my last game i had a bunch of pitch plays, but I have none in my AI.
I double checked the scenario in the Test AI, and there were no pitches there.
I also rechecked to make sure it calcs to 100%, and it does.

This happens 1-3 times every game.

Any ideas?

Same happens to me all the time. I figure it's just par for the course around here.

No auto adjust, follow AI completely, correct inputs/outputs and bad calls.

It happens pretty much every game, on both sides of the ball. Usually it isn't THAT big of deal, but I'm pretty sure there isn't much you can do about them. Hence, the term "loldots".

wow..ok, glad to hear it is not just me.
also seems like it may be occurring a little bit more of late.
i had only seen one pitch all season, then three in one game.

I was set to run 85% of the time, and despite winning by 2 scores in the 4th quarter, I was still passing 50% of the time.

I just don't get it.

Sometimes I flip a quarter 10 times and come up with tails all 10 times even though it should be 50/50. It's just a percentage of it happening, the engine doesn't remember the past.

Are you sure your AI has every situation covered for every down/distance/spot on the field?

yea, those 1/2 yards, and yardage/time remaining, score stuff can really screw you up if your not 100% careful. Especially when you get into goal to go situations, I think GLB has a hard time dealing with that, if you have things setup for 2nd and 4-7 yards, etc...

I don't have random plays happen to me at all. Just saying. If I do, I can usually pinpoint the problem and fix it.

Have you set it to keep just your tactics? If not, then setting to 0 will probably still bring in the auto-adjust, it would just come really slow!

As for the 85% run and getting 50% passing, well you would have to look at your advanced set up to see how you balanced that out. If you have the numbers set to about 50/50, then you'll get about 50% passing!

+1

and watch for short yardage DefAI outputs with '1 to 5 yards' to go...these outputs won't get covered on the 0.5 to go, sim gets a roll on this output. Your owner chews you out...you defend yourself because of your oblique thinking then you have an AHHA moment. It's kind of like an ABBA moment but it's all about you.

For DefAI watch the yards to go and No. of WRs...those are two easy ones to cull out.

Thanks.
I have not clicked on "Follow my AI EXACTLY, even when there is no match (use with caution!)"
Have you?

There also should not have been any auto-adjust as it was the very first set of downs.
I can usually pinpoint it, but in these recent instances I triple checked it in both the AI and the test AI.

This just happened in another game as well.

When you call a play, you need to outline certain parameters such as "handoff," "outside" and so forth. Then you select Play "A" to hit 50% of the time and Play "B" to hit 50% of the time and so forth.

When the computer selects the play based on your percentages (Play A or Play B), if you don't have a play that matches your parameters in your Offensive Playbook, the computer will fill in as close as possible.

Thus, if you select a "Short" pass to a "WR" the computer will look for one of the short/pass/WR plays in your playbook. If you have only one play that fits your parameters, it will always take that one. If you have two, it will select among the two. If you have NONE, it will go to your playbook and select one that you excluded.
